A Message for 2012

“Through my ever-growing faith, may I be set from the hindrances that separate me from God.”

In the beginning of 2011, during my “Time of Prayer and Healing”,  I received a vision.

As I was meditating and praying, I was shown a large mountain full of dirt and rock.

In front of me, on the side of the mountain was a large grey boulder.

I saw myself kneeling and rededicating myself to God.

It was impressed in my spirit that I was going to be climbing that mountain in 2011, and my foundation better be in something solid like a rock, or would be slipping and sliding all the way through.

Kneeling is an act of letting go and a sign of trust in God completely to become the person He wants me to be.

The rock is God. In Psalm 91, the psalmist writes, “You are my refuge and my fortress. You are my God in you I trust.”

God can lift us up and change our circumstances. He is the God of miracles.

Recently, while in prayer, I received another vision.

On the horizon, I saw a sliver of light coming through on the dawn of a new day representing that which is to come in 2012, hope.

Then a dear friend called me with a word from the prophet Jeremiah, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Two weeks later, I received a message from another dear friend that it is important to see the good in another, especially those who can cause issues or problems. Think about the good within that being and he/she will begin to grow.

You can find the good in another person, but you don’t have to “join the path”.

As a dear friend told me years ago, “Bless the being and the path he/she is on.”

Just say no if something does not resonate with your spirit.

You are on the path you are meant to be on.

Everything you have worked so hard for is going to come to fruition beginning on January 1, 2012.

The great writer, Emmet Fox sums it up best, “As far as you are concerned, the character that things will bear will be the character that you first impress upon them. Bless a thing and it will bless you. Curse it and it will curse you. If you put your condemnation upon anything in life, it will hit back at you and hurt you. If you bless any situation, it has no power to hurt you, and even if it is troublesome for a time it will gradually fade out.”

God’s Divine Love

“We would like you to understand that all life is held in God’s love.

Preparation is made for all the events in man’s life.

We would have you think of the Great Spirit (Holy Spirit) as one who always loves you.

We leave you the spirit of tranquility, of inner peace, and a feeling of deep thankfulness that God is, and that you are safe in Divine Love.”

Where Can We Meet God?

This time of year, the period of Advent (a time of preparation) into Christmas (Season of Light) is when a seeker will move from a space of solitude into a place of hope through the power of prayer.

We can meet God in prayer.

Prayer is the language of love; love from the Father, a rightful blessing for Children of God that seek Him so.

Stand Tall

“When these things begin to happen, stand up tall and don’t be afraid.”

“Amazing things will happen to the sun, moon, and stars. And people all over the earth will be upset and confused by the noise of the sea and its crashing waves. They will be afraid and worried about what will happen to the world. Everything in the sky will be changed. Know that it is almost time for God to free you!” (Luke 21)

On November 27, 2011, the First Sunday of Advent, I felt the presence of heaven in my “quiet place.”

The words passed on to me during my silent time of prayer, were to find great joy in the midst of all life, and be redeemed and sanctified.

Jesus spoke of the signs that we would see and the signs are here. We don’t have to go far to find truth in his words from long ago.

Just this year, we have seen what the churning of the earth and the rising waters have done in many parts of the world, “all the people will be upset and confused by the noise of the sea and its’ crashing waves.”

People are distressed. In the midst of disaster brings great upheaval and confusion.

Jesus also said, when these events happen, be not afraid. So what choices do we have?

We can run away like a dog with a tail between its legs, or we can stand tall in honor and truth, knowing that we do not walk alone.

Advent is a time of preparation to whatever one may be giving birth to at this time in life.

We are encouraged to go within; to look deep and find that which may dark or fearful; bring it out into the Light to be refined like silver.

In the process of refinement, I can look at what it means to be spiritually redeemed or sanctified. Redemption allows one to be set free. Sanctification allows one to create a spiritual space within that is sacred and holy; a special place to meet God.

We can “go into the closet and shut the door”, and find that blessed time away from the maddening crowd.

When we make our connection with God, we are transformed in our spirit.

Whatever you find yourself struggling with during this ‘Season of Light’, remember this too shall pass, and God has a greater plan.

“Don’t look back, look up and see all the greatness I have in store for you.”

I Sit At The Right Hand!

Whatever you ask for in my name, whatever you pray for in my name, your request is at my command; I sit at the right hand.
When you are troubled in thought, word, dream, sleep or action; seek my face, seek my peace. I am there for you.
Take a moment to get centered and quiet.
See the greatness of all life and the living breath, for it is holy indeed.
As you feel the precious presence of I AM; I sit at the right hand!

Are You Shaking and Breaking Spiritually?

When you look at what is going around you, in your nation, everything is symbolic in nature to her/his relationship with me.
Areas of the earth are shaking and breaking apart.
Look inside of yourselves. You are shaking; you are scared about the future.
Don’t you remember what I told you “Don’t worry about tomorrow?” Tomorrow will take care of itself.” Yet, you have not heeded my words and continue to worry for nothing.
The breaking up of the earth whether caused by action under the earth or the large wind, is a sign of your breaking up as a nation.
Once, you stood strong and proud as a people; you were proud to be part of America. Now, members of your nation have grown lackadaisical and misunderstand the messages of long ago.
If you look back in your history there was a time when you came together for the common good of all. You were excited to be a republic, a free nation.
Over the centuries, this has been lost, and the way of life you once held strong and true has gone to the wayside.
The water represents all the tears in heaven. I weep so much now, you cannot imagine.
Yes, there are dry areas as well. What is running dry in your spiritual life? Are there ways you can change it? Yes.
All the problems and natural disasters you see happening around you, are happening and will continue to happen until you begin to take back what the enemy has stolen from you.
The most important thing you have lost as a nation is your personal relationship with me.
This is my greatest sorrow.
Next, I watch how you treat one another.
This is not an ‘us’ or ‘them’ mentality to be embraced anymore; in order to move forward, one must have a ‘we’ mentality, truly caring for the nature and understanding of one’s brother or sister.
Each of you, as “Bearer’s of Light and followers of “The Way” will be required to step out and step up.
If you are already assisting others in your ministry, center or church then keep on doing what you are doing, always in my name.
If you don’t know what to do, pray and ask for my help. I am always listening because “I am always with you.”
The resources are there even during these hard economic times in your nation.
My level of abundance and source is ever lasting and does not run out.
Begin to tap into the higher things of life and you will see great things come to pass.
When you reach higher, I reach back. Remember the old time hymn, “Nearer My God to Thee?” I am nearer and closer than you could have ever imagined.
If you are in area that is cleaning up, do not lose hope, a new way will be made.
If you are in an area that has not been affected, be grateful for the space that surrounds you and take the time to care for it.
As it has been written, “there will be wars and rumors of wars, but this is not the end.”
This is not the end, but the beginning of find your way to ‘my way.’

Of what is yet to come

“It is imperative for those of you who are “Bearers of the Light” to listen to the “Inner Ticker” of all life, the Holy Spirit that resides within.
Your spirit is pounded daily with all the bad news in the world, and there is much propaganda and lies filling the airways. People are being horribly deceived and lied to on a daily basis.
Much of this behavior will soon come out into the forefront and be revealed to the people of your nation. There will be much upheaval. (We see this already happening right now in our country)
It is important for you and others to bring about a sense of calm in the midst of such calamity.
There is corruption everywhere. Everything has a ripple effect. It is not just your nation. The war of the enemy rages on.”

Jesus said there would be “wars and rumors of wars”, throughout history and not to be dismayed nor discouraged because our God is with us wherever we go!

Are you a “Bearer of Light?”

Perhaps we can take a page from spiritual history to help us along:

St. Ignatius became a “Warrior for Christ”, a “Bearer of Light” in 1521. Ignatius, a Spanish knight, was seriously wounded while in military service.
During his recovery, Ignatius had a spiritual conversion dedicating the rest of his life to Christ. Ignatius took his own life changing experience to help others through exercises of prayer.

More of the message:

“The disasters relating to weather and earth changes will continue. This too has a ripple effect. When you have an earthquake on the opposite side of the globe with plates shifting, the movement will continue from east to west. Everyone should continue to keep supplies and stay prepared not just during hurricane season, but year round in order to avoid panic.
Expect more upheaval from those who despise your nation and way of life.
What lies in front of you is not pretty.
It is important that each of you continue your spiritual gatherings together. The number is not important, but the connection and contact with others is necessary to increase the Light through the power of prayer, and love.”

“Wherever two or three or gathered together in my name, there I stand in the midst of them.”

When the boat is rocking, we, too, can gather together and move in such a way!

Is this the right time to get right with God and really do his will?

In the Book of John, Chapter Four, we come upon the scene where Jesus was in the midst of conversation the woman at the well.
The disciples had left to look for food.
Upon their return, they were baffled that Jesus was talking with a Samaritan woman. The disciples were trying to distract Jesus and control the situation by saying, “Master, eat.”
Jesus took this as a teaching opportunity for all that had ears to hear:
“I have food you know nothing about.” The disciples were confused, “Where did he get food?”
Jesus’ next statement made his point clear:
“My food,” is to obey the will of the one who sent me, and to finish the work he gave me to do.”

Even though the global outlook is gloomy and depressing, I can stand firm in my faith, taking in Jesus’ words, “What is that to thee follow me!”

This is a prayer of protection that a dear friend sent to me a few years ago. I do not know the author, but feel compelled to pass it on to all of you, hoping it will bring you peace in the midst of rough waters:

“Lord and Holy Protector, like the disciples who were caught in their tiny boat in the midst of a mighty storm, we come to beg Your Help.
We are fearful as we are surrounded by danger.
We feel helpless and small before the great power of this storm, which is beyond our control.
While everything seems dark and dangerous, we place our trust in You; our Lord and God.
Sheltered here in our home, we are also shielded by Your Love against all that might harm us.
We know that You hear all prayers; so we now, filled with confidence, lift up our petitions to You, our God.
Lord, we fear for our home, for our lives and for all we hold dear.
Lord, your Sacred Blessing is upon this home and upon each of us as well.
We are secure in the power of that blessing.
May the saving power of the Cross of Your Son, Jesus, encircle our home and us.
May the Sacred Sign of the Cross repel all evil, all harm and injury.
May the light of this candle be for us a holy sign of Your Divine Presence that fills our home in the midst of any danger.
Lord and Creator of Storms and of Rainbows, be with us in this time of danger.”
Amen +

Helping Others When Times Are Tough!

Everyone who works in ministry knows that funds are tight right now.
Members of “Helping One Family at a Time” are partnering with other ministries to help provide a little relief for families in need this summer.
We were asked to help out with milk.
Right now, the price of milk in our local “Save A Lot” is $3.09 per gallon.
One of our members suggested powdered milk, so I did some research.
Here is the breakdown:
I visited “Sam’s Club” on-line and found they are carrying “Augason Farms”, Morning Moo and Instant Non-Fat Dry Milk by the case.
To order 2 cases of 6, #10 cans, the shipping to our area would be $19.29.
Each #10 can would make approximately 5 gallons of milk, $2.26 gallon;28 cents per cup. This is not a bad deal. The cans increase the shelf life of the product after it is opened.
I checked out Walmart. They sell 10 quart size pouches in a box for $8.98. This was not such a good deal as far as price, but the pouches are nice.
I went to Sam’s Club and they have a cardboard box of “Member’s Mark” Instant Non-fat Dry Milk, 4.5 lb box, 22 quart servings, 5.5 gallons, $2.16 per gallon and 27 cents per cup.
A little milk can go a long way and God will always help you find a way to help others!

How Does One Seek Truth in Life?

Turning to God in times of need provides one with the tools necessary to handle any road block or situation that life presents.

When a major life change happens, such as moving to a new place, or taking a new job cautions one to go within, ask questions, and look for answers.

There are several points to ponder when seeking truth in your own life:

Whose truth do I believe?

Do I have enough facts to make an informed choice?

Do I believe God’s truth?

Will the knowledge I gain from this experience carry weight in the heaven world or be discarded?

What we do know is that God’s truth is perfect, and the answers one seeks will be revealed in His time.
In the Book of Numbers, we come upon the scene in scripture where God’s people were being directed to enter the Promised Land.

Each tribe would choose a representative to check out Canaan.

After forty days, the twelve scouts returned describing everything that God promised.

Ten of the twelve began to focus on all the things that were wrong in Canaan.

There were giants and other things running around.

Soon, the children of God began to complain. The people lacked vision.

Man’s truth fueled by impatience, is covered with deception lacking depth and perspective.

However, Caleb was one who traveled to Canaan and like what he saw.

Caleb trusted God and was ready to move into the land at once and told the others that were whining, “Do not be afraid, the Lord is with us!”

Caleb did not have the support of the entire group and was looked down upon with negativity flowing all around him.

It is in moments such as this that one will either embrace God’s truth or move away from it.

The Word reminds us to be discerning when interacting with others, “keep sound wisdom and discretion.”

The focus is not about what another person says or does; it is all about what God says and what he will do. “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and he shall direct your path.”

Caleb did not give in to the group dissension.

Caleb and his family entered the Promised Land. “My servant Caleb, because he did not have a spirit of fear in him, will be allowed to enter the Promised Land.”

He followed God’s instructions and was one of the few not left to wander for forty years.

Truth remains unchanged because it is guaranteed by the character of God.

“If you seek the truth, the truth shall set you free!”

A Heavenly Message 3/21/2011

A tide has been turned and the earth changes that have been written and spoken about are now in motion for all to see, feel and hear.
Some of the changes such as weather patterns, war and the uncertainty that looms in the air are difficult for many to grasp. Fear not!
These physical signs have been happening for some time, and the spiritual signs have been written for millennium!
What does all of this mean?
It means that man no longer has control over the things he/she thought they had dominion over.
As it was written, man (you and I) were appointed as caretakers of everything: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have stewardship over all living things.”
How are we to care for ourselves and others?
Jesus summed it up this way, “The truth is, you must change your thinking and become like little children. If you don’t do this, you will never enter God’s kingdom. The greatest person in God’s kingdom is the one who makes himself humble like this child.”
It is hard to believe, but those who are bearers of the Light are called to embrace the Dawn of a New Day:

“Just as the plants awaken in the spring, so do we. It is a calling from deep within the soul, a transition. Plant the seeds of inspiration and hope. Put your ideas into action, stand tall and proud. This is your new dawn and new beginning.”
